Below are the latest features and fixes in Compozer. Because Compozer is a web app, there's nothing to install. New features and fixes are available immediately, though you might need to export your course again to update previously published content.

  • New: xAPI export publishing standard is now available, allowing courses to be published using the xAPI (Experience API) standard for modern learning analytics and tracking.

  • New: Screen announcement labels for carousels, timelines, flashcards, labelled graphics, image comparisons, knowledge checks, quizzes, and lesson links let authors customise the text announced by screen readers.

  • Fixed: Exit course button now adapts to the header's background colour for better contrast.
  • Fixed: Interactive video knowledge check markers placed at the end of a video now display correctly and trigger the question as expected.

  • New: Block switcher lets you quickly convert blocks to a different block type without removing and re-adding content.
  • Enhanced: Buttons now automatically adapt to the block's background colour for better contrast. If you previously overrode button colours, you may need to revisit those settings as the defaults will now adjust automatically.
