It's also important to remember that rapid e-learning is not about cramming as much information as possible into a course. Instead, focus on delivering the most important information in a clear and concise manner. As your teachers may have once told you - it’s quality, not quantity. How much easier would your life be if you had to stop highlighting through pages and pages of content, and instead received simple bite sized chunks that you can swiftly understand. Avoid overwhelming your learners with too much content - too much information doesn’t always lead to a better understanding!
Who doesn’t appreciate a fun little activity, to take a break from continuous reading. One of the benefits of e-learning is the ability to incorporate interactive elements such as quizzes, simulations, and branching scenarios. However, I find that many rapid e-learning courses fail to include interactive elements. Switching things up is very useful, as monotony and routine makes it hard for learners to stay focused. Interactivity is key to keeping learners engaged and improving knowledge retention.

Something as simple as a rating system, or a short response, can do wonders for you in creating an effective rapid e-learning design.
